Gary Rodriguez, President, and B.L. Miers, Treasurer, had the pleasure of being interviewed by Kevin Barron of Beyond the Riverwalk for a podcast. Each week the Barron family produce a new issue which is uploaded to their site, for all their listeners to download and listen to. Most of these recordings are 30 minutes in length with topics about different organizations, events in the San Antonio area.
We had a great time during the interview, discussing individual life events involving railroading, railroad history in both San Antonio, and across the country, designs, the beginning of SARHM, current projects and a previously unpublished glimpse into our future. We invite you to go to their site and give it a listen, but we must warn you….it is NOT the average 30-minute podcast. It is 3 and 1/2 times longer than normal, but well worth the time.
