Floresville Heritage & Railroad Museum

Floresville Heritage & Railroad Museum

The Floresville Heritage & Railroad Museum offers a glimpse into the area’s past, showcasing artifacts and exhibits that narrate the story of the city and its development over the years. The city’s railroad history is significant, as Floresville was the first town to be reached by the San Antonio & Aransas Pass Railroad in 1886. The original depot was purchased by the city and brought back to its original site in 2004, where it now serves as a museum and a centerpiece for a “Hike & Bike” trail along the old railroad right of way. The Floresville Heritage & Railroad Museum is SARHM’s newest chapter.
